Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your Eagle Clubhouse account and what happens to your data. Eagle Clubhouse is operated by an individual sole proprietor based in California. You can delete your account yourself, at any time, directly in the app — deletion is immediate and permanent.

1. Open the Eagle Clubhouse app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Go to your Passport (your profile tab).
3. Tap Edit profile.
4. Scroll to Account actions and tap Delete account.
5. Confirm in the dialog by tapping Delete account. Your account and data are removed right away — this can’t be undone.

If you’ve lost access to your account and can’t use the in-app option, email us at support@eagleclubhouse.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We’ll verify your request and delete your account within 30 days.

Deleting your account permanently removes the personal data associated with it, including:

• Your account and sign-in credentials;
• Your profile — display name, username, avatar, bio, and handicap;
• Your golf bag (the clubs you added);
• Rounds you logged and the course ratings in them;
• Club and course reviews and ratings you wrote;
• Photos you uploaded (avatar and review/listing photos);
• Direct messages you sent and your participation in message threads;
• Your friends, friend requests, and circle memberships;
• Tee-time plans you organized and your responses and votes;
• Marketplace (Pro Shop) listings and saved items;
• Notification device tokens and your notification preferences; and
• Invite/waitlist records tied to your account.

After deletion, limited information may remain for a short time or in de-identified form:

• De-identified and aggregate data. Statistics that no longer identify you — for example, a course or club’s overall average rating — may be retained. Your individual reviews and ratings are removed and no longer attributed to you.
• Analytics events. We ask our analytics provider (PostHog) to delete your analytics profile and its events as part of deletion. The profile is removed promptly; the underlying events are cleared on a weekly cycle and can take up to about a week to disappear.
• Encrypted backups. Residual copies of data may persist in routine, encrypted backups for up to 30 days after deletion, after which they are overwritten in the normal backup rotation.
• Legal and safety records. We may retain limited information where we’re required to by law, or to resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or enforce our agreements — only for as long as necessary for those purposes.
